ANDREAS KAY PHOTOGRAPHY

Studied natural sciences in Germany and Switzerland, received my Ph.D. from EPFL (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne) with a thesis on artificial photosynthesis for solar energy conversion, and conducted research on Hydrogen production by solar water splitting and on rechargeable batteries.

Documenting the diversity of life in Ecuador as an independent scientist since 2011 and sharing over 19.000 photos on my page Ecuador Megadiverso (www.flickr.com/andreaskay/albums), hoping to raise more awareness for these threatened treasures.
